Since 2000, KMM was actively
involved in the betterment of the
community by providing
elementary schools with free
health and wellness fairs.
KMM incorporated special
programs that enable them to help
local non-profit organizations such
as the Kids in Need Blue Santa
Program, Center for Health Care
Services, The Children's Shelter,
Child Protective Services, Easter
Seals, Visitation House, Battered
Women's Shelter, International
Children Hope, and many foster
families. Since the Health &
Wellness Department receives over
50 calls on a weekly basis from
different types of health providers,
services, and vendors interested in
being apart of KMM’s health and
wellness fairs, KMM set up a
special Outreach Program for
"product vendors". Because of this
wonderful program, KMM was able
to raise thousands of dollars for
great causes in our local
community.
In addition, KMM built
relationships with elementary
schools that have used KMM’s
services and with corporations
wanting to get involved in a great
cause. KMM innovated a special
program that allowed children of
elementary schools to get involved
by them assisting in making Blue
Santa Donation boxes during the
holiday season. The children
painted, decorated, wrapped, and
personalized the Blue Santa
Donation boxes. KMM volunteers
picked them up and delivered the
Blue Santa Donation boxes the
children made to corporations
around San Antonio that agreed to
“adopt” the Blue Santa
Donation boxes and allowed their
employees to make toy donations
that benefit the Blue Santa
Program. KMM even provided
promotional flyers to the
corporations to promote, picked up
all toy donations, and delivered
them to SAPD Association.

| ADA Outstanding Service Reaching People Award |
Kaiser Medical Management was honored with the 2010 ADA Outstanding Service Reaching People
Award on Thursday, January 27, 2011. American Diabetes Association awards banquet was held at the
Omni Hotel to recognize individuals and companies that contributed to ADA's success in their fight against
diabetes. KMM would like to give special thank you's to San Antonio Food Bank, Methodist Hospital, and
Precision Sport & Spine in their contributions to providing educational and informative wellness lectures
that have helped KMM reach over 200,000 individuals annually.

SAISD held their Employee Health Fair on Thursday, June 29, 2011. The event was a huge success and
well attended. Special thank you goes to Humana, the leader in health and wellness amongst insurance
providers and worked with KMM to provide the health and wellness fair.

Founder of Kaiser Medical Management, Lenore Kaiser, is a person who truly
takes what she does for a living to heart. Beyond the 14-years KMM has been
promoting health and wellness, Lenore, has not only practiced what she preaches,
but made her living her life and her life her living.
"It starts from the top," she said during a brief interview. "Companies and
management can't preach to employees health and wellness if they are not being
the example. It's more than self-determination from an individual. It's about having
leadership to follow." She went on to say, "Even with friends and family, them just
being around my way of healthy living and lifestyle has made positive changes in
their own."
And an example, she is. She works out religiously daily, combining cardio with
weight training, eats moderately healthy, teaches a fitness class once a week for
fun, jogs 15 - 20 miles weekly, and competes in fitness competitions. Her favorite
statement, "If you have time to eat, you have time to workout."
