"Bringing Health Programs To Corporate America!"
Frequently Asked Questions
KMM's health and wellness programs are a sponsored program that  networks with close to 2,000 health
services that have agreed to participate in health and wellness fairs, Resource Fairs, Safety fairs, Health
Screenings Fairs, and Corporate Wellness Lectures.  Corporate Partnerships help with keeping cost
down for employers and in many instances KMM is able to provide services at no cost or at a discounted
rate for those employers that qualify.
How is KMM able to provide these services?
How does a Health Fair work?
Typically, the Human Resource Manager or Benefits Manager from a company contacts KMM.  KMM also
receives calls from company brokers and insurance providers looking to provide a service to their clients.
KMM tailors the health and wellness fair to the company's needs and space.  We do 99% of the work for
you, from scheduling, preparing, making promotional fliers, setting up, and returning the space to its
original state.  All you have to do is promote, promote, promote!
Why should a company have a Health Fair?
With the ever-rising cost of insurance, preventive measures is the key to reducing your company's health
care cost.  In 2001, employees' health problems cost companies billions and billions of dollars in lost
productivity alone!  Educating employees on health issues not only shows the company cares, but allows
employees to take matters into their own hands on their health and their family's health.
How much does a Health Fair or Wellness Lecture Cost?
Cost is dependent on the corporation's insurance provider, if the corporation qualifies for a discounted
rate, and if optional services such as blood work is desired.

Best Day & Time for a Health Fair?
Any event, regardless if it is a health and wellness fair or wellness lecture, has it's maximum impact on
the company employees when the majority are scheduled to be at work and have the opportunity to attend
and use the services.  We recommend you pick a day and time frame during business hours that is
centered around employee breaks, lunchtime, or towards the end of the day / shift.  Most events are no
more than 3-hours long.  Please keep in mind that you dictate the flow of traffic by specifying set times for
each department to participate in the event.  This will help with not only the flow of traffic, but allow health
services to give ample time to educate, do proper screenings, and answer questions each employee
may have.  It is also important to consider holidays, vacation times, business deadlines, and KMM's
required
45-day minimum notice needed when scheduling an event.
Best Places to Hold a Health Fair and Wellness Lectures?
Cafeterias, conference rooms, and large office spaces make great locations for health and wellness
fairs.  It is important to keep the event as close-knit as possible, so that employees don't miss out on a
health service because they did not know the health fair continued elsewhere.   KMM tailors the size of
your company's health and wellness fair to the space allotted for the event.

Wellness Lectures are best held in a conference room or office space that does not have walk through
traffic.  Some wellness lectures require a computer / projector set up for power point presentations, so
rooms that are equipped with such equipment is best suited.
